About Me

Hi I am Helen Doan. I have lived in Chalfont St Peter since 1996 with my husband Mark and we have 3 sons. I retired from The Metropolitan Police after 30 years service in 2022. I am now lucky to be following my other passion of working with animals. Since a young age I have loved animals especially dogs. I enjoyed learning about them and caring for them. I have been a volunteer at Dogs Trust since 2021. I have carried out a Think Dog practical training course with Sarah Whitehead. I have recently studied a Flat Faced Breeds health awareness course. I am mid-way through a Level 3 diploma in Assistance Dog Training. I have a good knowledge of "Dog Law". We have 3 dogs and one of my hobbies is Scent Training with my Springer Spaniel Rupert. I am always researching and learning the world of dogs especially ways of enriching their lives through fun.
